Vases
Add a permanent vase (or two!) to display flowers all year round! The most common types of vases are round and all polished, much like the one you see here. But, there are always custom vases that come in many shapes and materials. For instance, you could get a square-shaped vase made of metal! The basic granite vases tend to match the stone type of the monument, but it doesn’t have to! It’s always up to you in the end.
Porcelain Photos
Permanently memorialize a cherished portrait of your loved one with a porcelain photo. While, as always, the bigger photo the better – we can scan and utilize any photo you want. We can even digitally fix the photo after scanning it to remove scuffs, scratches, punctures, tears, and more. Porcelain photos come in either color or black and white with a wide range of sizes.
Added Color
For color etching, we use a slightly lower resolution on images (125 DPI instead of 150 DPI) which allows us to burn a bit deeper into the stone without losing details. This deeper burn gives a bit more grip, allowing the color to hold more efficiently. Our hand painter then adds color paints directly to the etching, and once the customer is satisfied with the color, our painter then seals it with car wax to help increase the longevity of the color. Added color is not permanent and fades over time. As color longevity will differ by region, there’s not a set timeframe. However, by running at 125 DPI on the imagery, we can ensure that the image will still look fine as it fades to black and white, instead of losing detail.
Embedded Memorabilia
Do you have weather-resistant memorabilia, religious iconography, stones or other items you’d like to memorialize on your stone forever? We can embed these for you. If they’re not able to be embedded, we can always scan them and laser etch the scans into the stone.
Shape Carving
Take your sandblasted clip art to the next level and have it shape carved! This adds extra dimension and texture to an otherwise flat art area. This is a premium service that is done by hand, resulting in a beautiful tactile experience.
